Temporary Admin RightsEdit

As per your request, i have decided to grant you admin rights because there are no active members on this wiki and i solely believe that its my decision and to overlook your contributions and edits closely. Glacious (މެމްބަރުގެ ވާހަކަ) 15:57, 28 ޑިސެމްބަރު 2021 (+05)

How we will see unregistered usersEdit

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Thank you. /Johan (WMF)

ސްޕޮންޖް ބޮބް ސްކޮޔަރ ޕޭންޓްސްEdit

I saw ސްޕޮންޖް ބޮބް ސްކޮޔަރ ޕޭންޓްސް was deleted twice, once as vandalism. But was the first article vandalism? It didn't seem to be from what I found. I saw the users who wrote it were praised. So why was that deleted? I know I should also ask @Glacious: but he/she is not active at the moment. Otherwise, I would ask Glacious. Anyway, hope you can restore the old article. I have a feeling that this was all a big mistake but I have no idea why. Maybe the page was vandalized? In which case, I hope you can restore the last good version. Thank you. Hi @I like peace and quiet, I checked the page history and there seems to be little to no content on it. It only had an infobox and a hatnote linking to a nonexistent page. EN-Jungwon (މެމްބަރުގެ ވާހަކަ) 13:43, 22 ފެބްރުއަރީ 2022 (+05)
If you could though, could you have added to it so that it may stay? If you really know the language of this project, could you write enough about SpongeBob SquarePants to make it useful? Here's something to write:

SpongeBob SquarePants (also simply referred to as SpongeBob) is an American animated comedy television series created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. The series chronicles the adventures of the title character and his aquatic friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. Being the fifth-longest-running American animated series, its high popularity has made it a media franchise. It is the highest rated series to air on Nickelodeon as well as the most profitable property for Paramount Consumer Products, having generated over $13 billion in merchandising revenue as of 2019.

Otherwise, can Glacious write that? Some other pages that may need deletion for the same reason as SpongeBob are މީޓް ދަ ރޮބިންސަންސް ,ޕޮކަހޮންޓަސް (1995ގެ ކާރޓޫނު ފިލްމު), and ޗިކެން ލިޓްލް (2005 ގެ ފިލްމު). 2600:1700:53F0:AD70:7817:2DF7:EF56:A2CE 04:41, 23 ފެބްރުއަރީ 2022 (+05)

Hi, can you please help me to translate this three pages: this, this and this into Maldivian language? Thank you so much
