English: The picture shows a water hole in a dwelling of the Kuruhinna Tharaagandu ruins. In K.Kaashidhoo, Maldives. A Buddhist Monastery that is reminiscent of the Buddhist ancestry of Maldives.
Whether the purpose of this watering hole could be for ceremonial, residential use or else is not known. Although this was the only well found/excavated in this historical site.. |
